GENerative AI UX Design for exabeam copilot assistant

Challenge: SIEM platforms like Exabeam often struggle with efficiently processing vast amounts of data, leading to delayed threat detection and response. Analysts face the challenge of sifting through numerous alerts, correlating events manually, and prioritizing threats effectively. This can result in missed threats and slower response times, putting the organization at risk. Enter Exabeam Copilot.

Key Objectives: 

  1. Improve User Experience:

    • Integrate GenAI into an entirely new Overiew page to provide analysts with intuitive, context-rich insights and recommendations.

    • Reduce the cognitive load on analysts by presenting actionable information and prioritizing threats based on severity and relevance.

  2. Enhance Threat Detection:

    • Leverage Generative AI (GenAI) to improve the accuracy and speed of threat detection by analyzing large datasets in real-time.

    • Automate the correlation of events and alerts to identify complex attack patterns that may go unnoticed by traditional methods.

  3. Streamline Incident Response:

    • Facilitate faster decision-making and response actions by providing analysts with automated playbooks and step-by-step remediation guidance.

    • Enable continuous learning and adaptation of the system to evolving threats through GenAI’s self-improving algorithms.

Outcomes

Our design partners communicated experiencing a significant reduction in the time required to investigate and respond to threats, thanks to automated data analysis and prioritized alerts.

Copilot helped in filtering out false positives, allowing analysts to focus on genuine threats, thereby optimizing their workflow.
